I'm Amy, I'm 20 and have just finished an undergraduate degree in English at Coventry University.
The main reason I started this blog was to encourage myself to write more. This may sound silly as I've just told you I did English as my degree so you would think all I ever do is read and write, but a lot of the time I found myself bogged down underneath essays and critical analysis. Whilst I enjoyed completing these (most of the time), I missed being creative. I missed writing for the sake of writing; having the chance to write with out restrictions on structure, word limits, subject choice, formality etc etc.

So, I decided to give myself somewhere to change all of that. And that is this little space of the internet you've stumbled upon.
I'm never really any good when it comes to talking about myself. My main interests are reading, musical theatre, bad TV shows and films, walks and spending time at the pub with friends. Oh, and tea. I drink a LOT of tea.
This blog will more than likely consist of updates on my life and the things I'm learning about myself and the world around me as I progress; books I've read, things I've seen, places I've been to, people that inspire me. I hope you enjoy reading and thanky you for your time. I appreciate it.
